The Formation of The Qualy Group The Qualy Group serves the greater St. Louis, Columbia, MO, Southeastern Missouri and Southwestern Illinois areas. The organization has headquarters in Downtown St. Louis with district offices in Chesterfield, MO, The Gross Financial Group, Clayton, MO, "The Hempstead Financial Group", Columbia, MO, "The J. Patty Financial Group", Cape Girardeau, MO, "The Hahs Financial Group", Glen Carbon, IL, The Gilliland Financial Group, and Belleville, IL, "The Lowery Financial Group.The Network office was actually founded in 1905 by Northwestern Mutual to serve the greater St. Louis area. John Qualy became a full-time Financial Representative in 1971 working in Columbia, MO. His father had been a Managing Partner for Northwestern Mutual and had moved the family to St. Louis in 1969. John left Columbia in 1986 and moved his family to St. Louis. He became Managing Partner with the organization in 1990.Since 1990, The Qualy Group has grown from some 46 associates to over 160 associates today.John Qualy, CLU - Professional AccomplishmentsJohn Qualy comes from a family of Northwestern Mutual Financial Representatives. His grandfather, Julius Marion, started with the company. His father, Robert B. Qualy, moved to St. Louis in 1969 and was a Managing Partner for Northwestern Mutual. John Qualy started in the Northwestern Mutual Internship Program in Columbia, MO and became a full-time Financial Representative in 1971. He first worked out of his bedroom in Columbia before establishing a successful office in that city. In 1986 he moved his family to St. Louis and later became Managing Partner in 1990. Qualy became only the eighth managing partner since Northwestern Mutual opened its first St. Louis area office in 1905.John Qualy is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (1974-2008). Under his leadership The Qualy Group has been a top twenty Network Offices within the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since 1994. The Qualy Group has also received the General Agents and Managers Association's Master Agency award, from Gama International (GAMA) every year since 1993.John Qualy - Personal AccomplishmentsJohn graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is married to Kathy and they have three children; Jamie, Josh, and Madison. John enjoys golf, boating, jogging and reading.This Network Office has been active since 1905.
